My key tasks and responsibilities: - Produce, maintain and support the business’s web-based software systems and platform (mainly e-commerce environment). - Understand business requirements and assist In the development of applications and features that will be put on the website and in internal functions as well. - Create quality mockups and prototypes, bringing a designer’s concept to life with HTML(Pug), CSS (SASS and PostCSS), and JavaScript. As a Salesforce Commerce Cloud developer, I work as well with the proprietary Demandware toolset (DemandwareScript, pipelines, ISML templates) to customize Demandware’s SiteGenesis to create unique and innovative web experiences. My daily tasks require an extensive knowledge of SiteGenesis, ISML templates, decorators and modules, Demandware Scripts, forms, Content Assets/Slots, Product catalogue, Business manager Operation and Administration tasks. - Implement responsible layouts and web design principles specified in wireframes and PSDs/Sketchs provided by creative designers, ensuring that website renders well across multiple devices, OS and browsers. - Maintain the developed software and making necessary updates. - Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability and planing future website upgrades with the development team.
