I am currently conducting research in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology in the Rosie Hospital at the University of Cambridge. In Dr. Catherine Aiken's lab, I will investigate various high-risk pregnancy conditions and long-term outcomes for mothers and babies.
I served as an assistant soccer coach for a 5th and 6th grade team at Hutchison School.
I worked as a research assistant and community educator for the Shokar Lab, which conducts research on cancer prevention and control interventions to reduce health disparities in cancer detection and treatment among Austin communities.
I acted as co-president of the Health Leadership Apprentice Program at Dell Medical School, which seeks to develop innovative healthcare leaders through community-based initiatives in research, volunteering, and education for UT Austin undergraduates.
I served as manager and writer for the Think Twice Blog, coordinating a writing team of 12 UT students. Think Twice aims to address medical misconceptions and promote health awareness. Our team worked under the supervision of Dr. David Ring.
I acted as research team leader for projects evaluating the need for emergency contraception resources at UT Austin. We administered campus-wide surveys in Spring 2022 and Spring 2024 to better understand students' access to, knowledge of, and attitudes towards emergency contraception and presented our findings at the American Society for Reproductive Medicine national conference in October 2024. We also developed and delivered our emergency contraception education curriculum to 12 UT student organizations in 2024-2025 and collected pre- and post-test data on our education's efficacy. Further, after receiving an Undergraduate Research Fellowship Grant, we conducted a qualitative study to explore students' perspectives on UT sexual health resources. We are currently working on a manuscript to describe our findings.
