Back to the origins in the Middle-East! I am now in charge of the Digital activities for the Gas Midstream Project, which is part of a broader picture for the Company: Gas Growth Integrated Project in Iraq. My position is based in Dubai - UAE, where the engineering activities, and the main EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) contractor, are located. This project is part of a multi-energy initiative of TotalEnergies in partnership with Basra Oil Company and Qatar Energy. My main objective is to build, and maintain, a Digital Twin for our installations with integration of Geospatial data, deploying advanced tools and systems to optimize processes and ensure data integrity across all project phases. Key elements of success will be stakeholder engagement, digital integration, and governance in multicultural environments.
This is my second stay in Nigeria, based in Lagos this time! I worked on the revamping of the Mining Rights: addition of Relinquished Areas around Marginal Fields, update of our internal Geodatabase for the production of maps and Business analysis. This is a consequence of the operationalization of the PIA (Petroleum Industry Act), and more specifically the acreage management part, for all EP companies in Nigeria. Other working subjects are: update and web publication of technical data, the 3D modelisation of our subsea infrastructure and the mapping of Well Events along deviation trajectories.
Lead the Geoinformation team made of 8 people with the responsibility to manage the software applications, databases and technical environment of the Geosciences division of Total E&P Congo. We are also conducting Transverse projects with the Operations division for the publication of technical data on a Web-GIS platform, such as the live position of vessels, infrastructure and production data.
In charge of the VPF data production, in compliance with the NATO DIGEST standard, using the ESRI software: ARC/INFO and ArcView. Training of Saudi officers on ArcView.
