I'm a Software Engineer at GitHub, where I'm working in the intersection of AI and Backend Engineering, on GitHub Copilot. Outside work, I'm captivated by the natural world and always strive to learn more. Currently I'm pursuing degrees out of interest/enjoyment in Mathematics and Natural Sciences.
Initially joined GitHub as part of the Security Products Engineering department, working primarily on CodeQL, part of the GitHub Advanced Security offering. Later on my role evolved to productionisation, scaling and maintenance of AI initiatives such as Copilot Autofix and Copilot Autofind.
* Began work at Enartia as part of degree-mandated industrial placement, and continued employment past the end of it. * Various assortments of web-dev related tasks in Python, PHP and Go.
Tasked with porting the Go GCC (gccgo) compiler on the GNU/Hurd system.
