Experience

  • Chairman of the Board at The CATA Project
    Jan 2023 - Present · 3 yrs 6 mos

Honored to serve as founder and board chair of an organization dedicated to healing our nation, one community at a time; through thoughtful, constructive, informed dialog across lines of political difference. The CATA Project hosts small group dialogs between community members of different political parties, ideologies, and identities, where the issues of the day are discussed. Consensus is sometimes found, but our goal is not consensus-building, but rather to re-establish our capacity to engage and understand our commonalities as well as our differences. In addition, we seek to re-establish our sense of connection and community, regardless of party affiliation, and to offer the opportunity to learn from people who think differently. So that we can build a stronger community and a stronger society. Together.
