The business unit with 160 employees divided into 22 teams and 3 business areas is responsible for: • IT operation including commissioning, contingency planning, 2nd line service desk and 1st line hotline. • Security, including the CISO role, IT security, cyber security, cloud security, network and GDPR compliance. • Risk Management & Compliance, as 2nd line of defense. • Application security and Pentest, responsible for security in mobile and online banking solutions. • Internal IT at Bankdata. • Modern Workplace, providing clients and Office365 to 7,000 bank users and 1,000 Tech professionals. • Developments Teams (based on DevOps methodology) for Robotics Process Automation, Business Process Management, and digital solutions for Documents, Archiving, and Digital Signage. • Dotted line of responsibility for the System audit, which acts as the 3rd line of defence. Some Key Results: • Closed 6 injunctions from the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority in 1½ years, and for the first time in 8 years, Bankdata is without injunctions from the authorities. • Developed the financial sector's best performing workplace for both IT developers and bank advisors by using a completely new project model (Half-Double). Key Tasks: • Deliver (cost) efficient, stable, secure, and compliant operations for 1.6m private customers and 187.000 corporate customers at our 8 member banks/owners. • Establish close and trusting cooperation with the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority (FSA) and other authorities. • Strengthen and significantly increase the security area for Bankdata, our hosting partners, and member banks.
CIO with reference to the CEO and member of Executive Management team with the responsibility to lead, develop, and motivate the IT function, and with the main task of supporting the realization of an ambitious turnaround and growth strategy for the company through digitalization and e-commerce. In Executive Management Team my main responsibilities were the following: • Preparation of and participation in board meetings with the Würth family and the Central Management Board. • Executive sponsor of three major customer accounts. • Accountable for E-Business Sales Channel (OnlineShop, Mobile Apps and e-Procurement) together with CMO. • Design and execution of business strategy and alignment with IT & Digitization strategy. • Design and execution of IT & Digitization strategy. • Member of international Group governance boards for E-Business and strategic development of sales force automation app for approx. 15,000 sales reps globally. Key Results: • Crisis Management and full recovery of both data centres in connection with a ransomware attack in Dec-22 that encrypted all access to systems and infrastructure. • Increased e-Business share from <5% to 12.5% of an increasing turnover. • Launched the first three Mobile Apps for the Danish market. • Established new modern platform for EDI/e-Procurement. • Re-established critical cooperation and positioning of Würth DK with the group IT companies in Germany and Italy. • First-mover in the Group on robotics process automation solutions to optimize customer journey. Key Tasks: • Design and execute Digital Strategy 2.0 to grow digital maturity and significantly increase digitalization of internal and external business processes. • Build strong relationships in the international STAR Group collaboration on SAP. • Define roadmap for conversion of 20-year-old legacy SAP platform to SAP S4/HANA. • Establish a new BI-platform based on PowerBI and SAP Business Objects & SAP Analytics Cloud.
