My work sits at the intersection of enterprise technology and business transformation in financial services, most recently in reinsurance. At MS Reinsurance, a USD 3.9bn pure-play reinsurer that grew 77% in three years, I lead the Digital Platforms & Enterprise Technology function as a member of the CIDO Leadership Team. The remit covers a CHF 25m change and BAU portfolio, a team of 70 professionals across six product domains, and a delivery slate that includes simultaneous mission-critical programmes: core reinsurance system, Oracle ERP carve-out, IFRS 17 reserving platform, Workday carve-out, underwriting workbench re-platforming, and IT infrastructure for a newly established investment function. Previously, seven years at AXA Switzerland across four roles including Chief of Staff to the CIO, then AXA XL where I built the Digital Factory from scratch and led a CHF 70m delivery programme with 150 FTE across Zurich and London. Academic background: Dr. oec. HSG magna cum laude, doctoral thesis on IT evaluation in financial services groups. MSc TU Munich, top 5 in class. Swiss Board Diploma 2025. Earlier in my career I trained as an Avionics Technician, a grounding that has informed how I think about systems reliability ever since. Currently pursuing a first NED/VR mandate where technology governance and digital transformation are on the agenda.
