As Counsel in the Antitrust, Competition, and Economic Regulation (ACER) team at Hogan Lovells, I advise clients across industries on the full spectrum of German and EU competition law. My practice focuses on delivering clear, commercially viable solutions – whether navigating complex merger control proceedings, representing clients in cartel investigations before the European Commission and the German Federal Cartel Office, or advising on the interface between competition law and regulation, including for digital markets. Beyond my advisory practice, I lead the ACER group’s Knowledge Management for Continental Europe. In this capacity, I drive innovation by designing and implementing specific AI solutions for the antitrust field, and ensure our clients receive advice that is not only legally precise but also timely and cost-efficient. My expertise is built on years of international experience, including my tenure as a Senior Associate at Hengeler Mueller and as a Visiting Lawyer at Slaughter and May in London. I combine legal depth with economic insight, holding a doctorate from the University of Bonn and having pursued Executive MBA studies at the University of St. Gallen. I publish regularly on competition law, with a particular focus on cartel proceedings, compliance, and merger control. My work has been repeatedly recognized by The Legal 500 and Who’s Who Legal (Lexology Index), where I am ranked as a "Future Leader" and "Recommended Lawyer".
