In almost 20 years of working in clinical medicine, clinical research and drug discovery/development I have experienced firsthand the impact of novel drugs in a high disease burden setting and I am convinced of the potential of global efforts and collaborations in R&D and clinical development to address the many unmet medical needs. I am passionate about exploring novel technologies and innovative approaches to develop much required medicines and believe in the impact of partnerships which many I had the privilege to be part of throughout my career.
