I am the Chief Technology Officer at Lyzeum Ltd and a visiting postdoctoral researcher at the University of Cambridge. We are developing interpretable Machine Learning based solutions to improve the diagnosis of coeliac disease. We aim to improve the speed and accuracy of duodenal biopsy diagnosis, thereby reducing healthcare costs and improving patient outcomes.
Developing AI for the automated diagnosis of duodenal biopsies.
Using Computer Vision based techniques to diagnose Coeliac Disease.
- Used Graph Neutral Networks to improve Optimization algorithms for Computer Vision problems - Published papers on Adversarial Robustness and Formal Neural Network Verification
- Designed and taught the practical part of the optimization course for 30 first year PhD students - The course includes an introduction to Python and Pytorch for machine learning and then focuseson smooth and non-smooth methods for regression, and scalable methods for classification
- Working on machine learning research in the machine intelligence, neural design (MIND) team. - Published our work on efficient model compatibility updates at ICLR2023
- Worked in a team of four consultants providing a long term strategy for one of Germany’s largest energy suppliers - In charge of a complex Excel model, programming macros using VBA
