Bonn, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany
I am a passionate life scientist with focus on applied research. I am especially interested in interdisciplinary topics such as technology transfer and science communication. As Innovation Scout of Transfer Center enaCom at the University of Bonn I am currently working on transfer activities affecting different parts of society. Based on diverse research activities at the University of Bonn, we identify and support ideal paths for the transfer of knowledge and technologies. During my time as post-doc I worked as member of a research team at the Center for Interdisciplinary Sustainability Research (ZIN) at WWU Münster on societal participation in the establishment of bioeconomic processes. In my dissertation, I investigated the regulation of flower development in the model plant tobacco - a mechanism that is considered key to crop optimization.
