Working as a student ambassador is something that I thoroughly enjoy, which includes working on open days and for interviews. I have worked a range of roles including talking to prospective students about the university and my course as well as calming students before interview and offering advice. Here, I further developed by timekeeping skills at which I ensured students were checked and lead to the correct interview room at the correct time.

    • Pass Mentor
      Aug 2019 - Aug 2020 · 1 yr 1 mo

PASS is a mentoring scheme that runs lectures/talks for first year students on specific topics that students are struggling with, we simplify more complex topics, aid revision and explain difficult concepts within a topic. Running these talks, has improved my confidence with public speaking, interacting with a large audience and answering questions with confidence and clarity. I am also involved in the clinical group mentoring at which we provide advice to a certain clinical group on welfare, lecture related questions and other advice.
