I attained a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science at the University of San Francisco in May 2017. I am particularly interested in soil nutrient cycling. I was the president of USF's Environmental Justice and Outdoors Club, which combines outdoor recreation, volunteering, and on-campus environmental justice initiatives to foster student appreciation for nature. In addition, I worked with a professor studying nitrogen cycling in floodplain soils.
Collection and organization of water quality and map data in the Yahara River watershed
I am a laboratory assistant for a professor researching carbon and nitrogen in floodplain soils. I prepare soils for measurement of carbon and nitrogen in an Elemental Analyzer, asses quality of data, and coordinate responsibilities with a fellow assistant and the professor.
