About

Program Associate at Climate Policy Initiative, an NGO with expertise in climate finance and policy that supports governments, businesses and financial institutions to address climate change. I support programme delivery across their Tracking and Integrity workstreams, which provides the most comprehensive data and insights into global finance flows supporting climate change mitigation and adaptation outcomes. I have over three years of experience in international development and climate consulting, spanning project management, business development, and research facilitation. At DAI Global UK, I worked across the Climate Change and Environment and Development Finance and Investment business teams, for clients including the FCDO, British Investment International, World Bank, Green Climate Fund, and USAID. Through leading bid management and project delivery of several multimillion pound programmes, I developed the capability to build and manage strong working relationships with diverse stakeholders; coordinate global teams; draft technical content; and prepare and monitor budgets. Academically, I have been awarded two distinctions in climate-related degrees, and was awarded a High Distinction for my Masters dissertation investigating the uses of cash transfers for deforestation prevention, in collaboration with environmental and social justice NGO Cool Earth. I was also awarded the Leeds Human Rights Journal’s 2022 Prize for Best Original Research, for an article exploring the benefits of decolonising the human rights framework for environmental protection.
