I’ve always believed that stories have the power to connect people and as a Sponsor Advocate at Unbound, I get to live that out every day. I speak with sponsors, hear their hopes, and become a bridge between hearts that have never met but choose to care deeply for one another. Our work extends beyond sponsorship. We also advocate for donors who give through causes. Those whose support flows into funds that help where it’s needed most: from General Donations and Scholarships to Critical Needs, Birthday and Christmas Funds, and Agents of Change Grants. Each conversation becomes an opportunity to retain compassion, even when sponsorship transitions. Before this, I worked as a Customer Service Specialist at Foundever, while also teaching English online to international learners through YouX Online Tutorial Services. I’ve worn many hats—transcriptionist, tutor, listener, encourager—all of which shaped how I serve with empathy and presence today. My first job was with API BECI International Language Academy where I balanced transcription work and ESL tutoring. It was here that I first understood the quiet strength of being detail-oriented and the beauty of helping others find their voice. I studied BS Architecture at the University of Baguio, but my path has taken a different turn. I’m still building, but now it’s lives I help shape, not blueprints. I’m still learning, still growing, still reaching for more. Whether it’s through faith, service, or future studies in tech or digital learning, I remain committed to meaningful, people-first work and to walking every path with purpose and heart.
