As part of the Industry Solutions team at MongoDB, I collaborate with industry experts and technical teams to create demo solutions that reflect real-world challenges across sectors like retail. These solutions are designed to inspire, inform, and help the community better understand how modern technology is shaping the way businesses evolve. Our goal is not just to showcase what MongoDB can do, but to provide insight into how innovation happens at the intersection of data, strategy, and customer impact. With a background in backend development and several years leading technical teams, I focus on creating content that connects the technical with the strategic—always with clarity, purpose, and user value at the core.
My work blends software engineering, storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration to drive innovation where data is at the core of the business: -Design and code end-to-end demo applications tailored for the retail industry. -Develop technical and business-focused content (blogs, white papers, long- and short-form videos, talks, diagrams, and presentations), crafting narratives that connect MongoDB’s global messaging with industry-specific needs. -Deploy, maintain, and evolve demo experiences in alignment with the broader technical hub of Industry Solutions Team. -Collaborate with industry experts, solution architects, marketing, video editing and sales teams. -Participate in events, customer meetings, and internal enablement sessions. -Stay in constant learning mode, focusing on MongoDB’s evolving capabilities, system design, and distributed architectures — with a strong focus on their application to emerging technologies.
I took a sabbatical time in Italy to obtain Italian nationality, unable to work due to legal restrictions. Used the time for rest and study after emigrating from Argentina.
• Led 6 product development teams in the healthcare industry, managing B2C and B2B projects with cross-functional teams of up to 8 members. Collaborated with stakeholders to align projects with strategic vision and business goals. • Created roadmaps and managed backlogs for each development team, tailored to account needs. Developed functional documentation, coordinated meetings, and implemented customized Agile frameworks with strategic estimations and project-specific work charts, enabling data-driven decision-making. • Migrated a desktop application to a B2B cloud solution, enhancing transparency between pharmacies and health insurers with data visualization. Reduced internal process times by 30% through optimized data loading and redesigned process flows based on user feedback. • Improved product performance by coordinating SLA training workshops, conducting postmortem analyses, and managing risk identification and mitigation, achieving a 40% reduction in technical debt. • Crafted and implemented a dual-track roadmap and customized burn chart to coordinate milestones and track key user test feedback in a time-bound project. • Led the B2C web app project from inception to launch, addressing market demand for on-demand coverage and efficient worker insurance sales. • Collaborated with the development team to maintain and enhance the sales insurance web app, implementing technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Mongo, etc., to optimize workflow and environments in a legacy system, and a gradual shift to microservices. This resulted in a 50% increase in lead tracking capacity and a greater impact on call center sales.
• Participated in the development of a sales retail web application from scratch, utilizing Java, REST APIs, microservices, MongoDB, Git, unit testing, SonarQube, continuous integration, and Scrum methodologies. .
