I was born in 1985 in Alanya, a district of Antalya, Turkey, where I completed my primary, secondary, and high school education. I subsequently earned an Associate Degree in Computer Technology from Akdeniz University. Following this, I was admitted to Istanbul Technical University (ITU) through the Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS) and completed my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering. Although my formal education was largely software-focused, I have been actively working in the field of Systems and Networking since 2003, with my interest in this area steadily increasing over time. I took my first step into the industry during my compulsory high-school internship at a company specialising in structured network cabling projects. I continued working there for an extended period, gaining hands-on experience with system and network infrastructures. This early exposure became a key turning point that shaped my professional direction. I have held roles including System Support Specialist, System Engineer, Senior System Engineer, and Senior System Architect throughout my career in the Information Technology sector. I have consistently translated hands-on field experience into real-world projects, applying accumulated knowledge in practical environments. A significant part of my career has been shaped by technical consulting work within systems integrator companies, primarily focused on Microsoft technologies. During this period, I contributed to large-scale projects and supported clients’ digital transformation initiatives. The experience gained through this work forms the foundation of my current role as a Senior Consultant at Microsoft. I have been delivering professional System & Network Administration training to corporate organisations since 2015. I obtained the Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) credential, formalising my training activities within a recognised professional framework in 2017. Currently, independent of any corporate structure, I provide System & Network Administration training to corporate clients on an individual basis, with content tailored to each organisation’s technical requirements. Additionally, I have been working as a freelance notary certified sworn translator, providing English–Turkish and Turkish–English translation services for official documentation, as well as for corporate and individual clients, since 2004.
