Fiorella Ikeue is a Peruvian-American illustrator and artist based in southern Japan. With a graduate degree in biology (Kalamazoo College) and master’s certification in science illustration (University of California Monterey Bay), she specializes in the intersection of art + science. Her work explores the natural world, scientific ideas, environmental issues and beyond. While living in the United States, Fio worked at Ink Dwell painting murals around the country that highlight local ecosystems. She continues to be an illustrator for the studio while also doing freelance projects. Clients include National Geographic, Earth Law Center, Patagonia, San Francisco Baykeeper and Grist magazine.
