My strong technical foundation is supported by a Diploma in Patternmaking, a Bachelor of Design (Honours) from UTS, and a Master’s in Fashion Design from Domus Academy in Milan. I have extensive experience managing the full product lifecycle, from initial concept through to final production. This includes creating mood boards, technical packs, sample fittings, and overseeing production. I am passionate about combining aesthetic innovation with commercial viability, delivering designs that are both creative and market-ready. My focus is always on high-quality outcomes, achieved within budget and critical timelines. I designed and developed eco-conscious resort and ready-to-wear collections in collaboration with artisans from Bali and India for MALA retail stores in Bali. My work focused on integrating traditional craftsmanship with sustainable fashion, working with skilled cottage-industry makers and diverse textile methods, and specialising in block printing and natural dyeing techniques to ensure the use of environmentally friendly materials. I oversaw the entire product lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final production, ensuring each piece aligned with sustainable principles while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship. By working closely with skilled artisans, I helped preserve traditional techniques while adapting them to contemporary designs, creating unique and ethically produced collections.
As the Senior Designer for the wholesale label Iris Maxi and Savanns, I developed mood boards and detailed tech packs to guide the design process according to the Creative Director’s brief. I conducted local fittings and worked closely with overseas patternmakers, prepared tech packs and oversaw sample development, managing all technical aspects to ensure the final product was delivered on time. I worked with textile studios, ensuring each print collection aligned with market trends.
As the Co-founder of Seapia Swimwear, I was deeply involved in all aspects of running and growing a sustainable swimwear brand. I developed the business plan, overseeing planning and scheduling, while also sourcing and managing a small production team by outsourcing suppliers and manufacturers. Through extensive market research and customer surveys, I defined the brand’s positioning, avatar, and tone of voice to differentiate it within the competitive swimwear industry. I led the creative direction, designing, pattern-making, and grading each collection while collaborating with highly skilled technicians to perfect fit and production quality. Apart from product development, I managed the brand’s digital presence, creating content and designing digital channels, including the website, social media platforms, and newsletters. Additionally, I worked with an external PR team for media exposure. I organised and managed pop-up stores, handling stock, fit-outs, and sales operations. I also directed and coordinated photoshoots for both the website and social media, ensuring a strong visual identity. To support wholesale and PR efforts, I designed look books and brand collateral.
As a designer consultant, I played a key role in the product development and design of the Amorette label, ensuring cohesive brand direction and execution. I also founded the Purple Ginger label, managing all aspects of its development, from design and branding to production and market positioning. My responsibilities included overseeing manufacturing and production, both locally and in China, and sourcing fabric mills to ensure the best materials for each collection. This role required strong supplier relationships, efficient production management, and a keen understanding of fashion trends and market demands.
I designed and developed woven garments, working closely with buying teams to manage monthly product drops. I worked closely with the Creative Designer and General Manager to ensure the collection aligned with the brand’s identity and commercial objectives. Additionally, I monitored and analysed sales performance to identify opportunities for growth and product improvement.
