As a Project Manager with three years of experience, I currently manage the DEI program at BDO Canada. In collaboration with our National DEI Advisory Council, I drive internal initiatives, coordinate firmwide DEI webcasts, and contribute to building learning content. My role involves working with many internal stakeholders, building project schedules, and managing the program budget, all while passionately advocating for DEI.

      • Managing the administration and project management needs for 4 public company audit partners. Hosting weekly check-ins with the partner group and my admin assistant to ensure proper time allocation to large tasks in the coming week. It is a collaborative meeting where we also speak about employee satisfaction and plans/ how to execute a boost morale in the wider team during busy season. • Creating and maintaining progress trackers on the departments planning process. Ensuring the necessary steps in the procedures are made ahead of the audit projects work beginning. Hosting regular check-ins and requesting feedback from Partners on her progress. • Developed a learning plan for new staff members with the administrative department and implementing it. • Event organizer for the Business Development Technology and Life Sciences Committee. Every quarter I coordinate with the VC Capitalist firm we sponsor, I need to book a venue, choose the menu and estimate drinks within budget. I also confirm attendees, coordinate between us, the VC firm and the venue as we make adjustments close to the day. I need to stay within budget and independently problem solve any issues that occur with the 40+ people in attendance on the night.
