I graduated from Rowan University in May 2021 with a dual degree in Finance and Accounting. Currently I am working at Stanley Black and Decker as a Senior Financial Analyst for Strategic Sourcing Logistics
Business partner to the Logistics Strategic Sourcing team supporting ocean, air, and ground transportation modes globally. I am the lead analyst for Logistics and partner with the Strategic Sourcing team to drive category target achievement through vendor negotiations, spend analysis, identification and execution of productivity saving and process improvement initiatives. I work closely with cross functional leaders throughout the company on key Logistics initiatives.
Working as an analyst supporting Accounts Receivable, Daily Sales, and the reporting function for Group FP&A. This role includes Month-End close, Forecasting, Financial Systems and Executive Reporting / Presentation exposure.
• Brought insight, expertise, and value to a committee of professors and administrators looking at all matters related to “pricing” • Assisted in identifying a new pricing structure that appeals towards the cost conscious and value seeking students while identifying a price point that leads to revenue growth and generates positive margins • Worked directly with the Assistant Vice President for Budget and Financial Planning and the Dean of Students
• Managed a $1.8 Million dollar budget with over 250 individual accounts • Reorganized multiple accounts, allowing Student Government to award students with an additional $75,000 in scholarships • Performed internal audits on the accounts and worked with University finance and accounting departments • Created two new accounts, “Club Special Projects” and “Student Special Projects” allowing individual students and clubs to seek additional funding for new and innovative projects • Onboarded a team of 9 students, selected by application and interview process, as members of the Student Financial Control Board (SFCB). • Oversaw the yearly budget hearings with the SFCB, including 15-minute budget presentations for over 170 clubs
• Collaborated with the Dean of the Rohrer College of Business as a student advisor • Led a team of 16 students across all majors in the College of Business to oversee and advise the 12 academic business clubs on campus • Budgeted and planned for the annual “Dinner with the Dean” freshman event
