Full responsibility for the management of all human resource activities of the employee lifecycle, providing the full range of HR services to enable the Supply Chain & Depot Teams achieve their business objectives and service our retail partners. This includes working with, coaching & supporting the Management Team on all people & HR related matters such as absence mgt, performance mgt, resourcing, retention, culture development, engagement, development, ER & IR. Providing expert advice & guidance on the application of HR policies, best practice, employment law & IR & working with Business Managers to ensure governance & compliance, performance mgt fairness & consistency & problem solving. Working with the Ops Teams to facilitate, measure & continually improve team effectiveness & motivation, people management practices, processes & advise on actions/initiatives to enhance all aspects. Delivery of the engagement framework. Identifying/retaining talent across the business, ensuring fit for purpose training, development programmes and succession planning. Managing employment claims/WRC referrals, drafting of company submission & company representative at all 3rd party hearings, workplace investigations/disciplinaries. Mgt of all personal injury claims for MRPI, working with insurers & legal team to minimise/negotiate risk, company lead/representative for all stages of this process. Ensure resourcing needs of the site are delivered, supporting all recruitment activities such as interviewing and onboarding. Creating & maintaining a high performing, engaged and aligned HR Team. Co-ordinating and participating in Company Branding initiatives CI/Project Involvement – Company acquisition, depot expansion, end to end review of company onboarding/induction programme, set up of Business in the Community Programme, overseas recruitment drives, facilitator of specialised training, design and roll out of the Step Up (Line Management) Development Programme.
