For the last 18 months I have undergone the role as a leading excavator operator. As an operator I have worked on a vast amount of projects ranging from high end residential works, large civil subdivision works, live service works and general earthwork and machine tasks. Throughout my time in this position I have learnt a wide range of skills both work specific related, and skills that are transferable to any industry. Skills such as time management, risk management, conflict management and immediate problem solving are some of which I have learnt from this position. This position has provided me with invaluable construction and development insight whilst also forcing me to constantly learn and adapt and work in with others. The high-pressure and responsibility nature of this role forced me to constantly learn and perform to a high standard.
