Filip has over 15 years of experience in the financial services and investment funds sector, working across regulatory, operational, and strategic matters for European financial institutions. In August 2024, he co-founded Complissimo, a compliance technology and managed services company for the regulated European financial services sector. Complissimo brings together daily management of data governance, risk, and compliance with automated reporting, helping institutions streamline complex regulatory obligations and strengthen digital operational resilience. Filip is also the co-founder of Ace Law, a premier Belgian boutique law firm providing corporate and financial law advice to investment funds and other regulated entities. Alongside his entrepreneurial work, Filip serves as an advisor and non-executive director on various boards and advisory committees, supporting organisations with governance, regulatory strategy, and risk oversight. He is particularly focused on building practical, technology-driven solutions that enhance clarity, efficiency, and accountability across the compliance lifecycle allowing European financial institutions to take back control over their compliance.
