I am a senior medical student with a special interest in psychiatry and psychotherapy.
As a student psychotherapist, I provide individual psychodynamic psychotherapy under close supervision. I also received theoretical preparation in psychodynamic psychotherapy techniques and had a chance to regularly present on topics related to the field.
I had the privilege of co-chairing the rePRESENT 2025 Conference organised as a part of UCL Medical School's Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) network. I was responsible for recruiting the speakers and coordinating the event.
Joined a research group on social learning in adults with autism spectrum condition. I learned to navigate research participant recruitment software and experiment designing software. I directly led experiments on a global population of human participants. I had a chance to analyse the originally sourced data and contribute to further publication.
I worked as a support worker for clients with learning disabilities. On an everyday basis, I would be responsible for coordinating clients' activities, administering medication, managing finances and directly liaising with clients' families. I also gained experience acting as a key worker.
I joined the first wave of vaccinators for the COVID-19 national vaccination programme in the UK. I became proficient in intramuscular drug administration for patients of all age groups and various cultural backgrounds. I learnt how to adjust to rapidly changing guidelines and gained broad experience in managing patient anxiety in highly-paced settings.
