I’m an IP attorney with a strong foundation in trademarks, copyrights, and technology law, and a passion for protecting and growing brand value across borders. With experience at top law firms including Ballard Spahr and Blank Rome, I’ve counseled a wide range of clients, from global enterprises to emerging brands, on complex trademark strategy, clearance, prosecution, enforcement, and IP agreements. My practice is rooted in solving real-world brand protection challenges through practical, business-minded legal solutions. From UDRP complaints and TTAB oppositions to FTC compliance and licensing agreements, I bring a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to client advocacy. Before practicing law, I supported legal teams as a Project Analyst in antitrust and consumer safety at Mintz, clerked at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and even developed policy proposals to support pro se litigants during my time with the New Jersey Appellate Division. I supported the management of global trademark portfolios for clients, coordinated clearance, prosecution, enforcement, and maintenance efforts across multiple jurisdictions. I worked closely with foreign counsel to align international IP strategies and protect high-profile global brands. I conducted comprehensive domestic trademark clearance searches, analyzed results, and provided strategic recommendations to guide client branding and filing decisions. I also drafted and refined responses to complex USPTO Office Actions and TTAB oppositions, and collaborated with senior attorneys to develop strong legal arguments that advance client interests. In addition to trademark enforcement, I lead investigations, drafted cease and desist letters, and assisted in negotiating settlement agreements to protect client IP rights and resolve infringement matters efficiently. I also developed enforcement strategies for UDRP complaints and DMCA takedown requests, advising clients on risks and potential outcomes. Beyond trademark matters, I drafted and reviewed a range of IP agreements, including licensing agreements, assignments, statements of work, SaaS agreements, and master services agreements. I also counseled clients on compliance with FTC regulations, ensuring their advertising practices align with legal standards for endorsements, disclosures, and deceptive marketing claims.
I focused my practice on intellectual property matters, including trademark and copyright prosecution and enforcement, domain name disputes, and trademark and copyright litigation. I counseled clients on trademark strategy, including clearance, prosecution, enforcement, and maintenance, expungement, and reexamination; prepared and drafted responses to various agency inquiries, including USPTO Office Actions and TTAB oppositions; and drafted and reviewed a variety of IP agreements, including licensing agreements, assignments, statements of work, and SaaS agreements/master services agreements. I also counseled clients, prepared drafts, and reviewed general IP matters, including DMCA takedowns, copyright licenses, social media, and endorsement policies and agreements; assisted with IP litigation matters, including strategy, discovery requests, managed and reviewed discovery, and drafted briefs; and performed IP reviews of various corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions. I also worked on domain name disputes, including UDRP/ICANN proceedings.
I worked alongside Judge Jones and his full-time clerks to draft orders, research issues, prepare bench memoranda, and observe judicial proceedings. I participated in a weekly classroom component taught by the Honorable Mitchell S. Goldberg.
I focused this summer on intellectual property and technology matters. I researched and drafted analyses of various copyright licenses among parent and subsidiary companies, reviewed recording agreements for assignment/work for hire language in a high-profile music copyright litigation, and assisted with various IP litigation matters.
