Produced and managed Hopkins Center events in support of main-stage productions and campus-wide projects. Collaborated with Hop Ensemble Directors to advance student performances, initiatives, and tours. Negotiated, drafted, and processed contracts in compliance with institutional policy, ensuring accurate execution of agreed-upon terms. Led weekly programming meetings to define seasonal goals, evaluate programs, and curate visiting artists for upcoming seasons.
Plan and manage complex, high-profile on-campus events, including Commencement, Inauguration, and President's Office events. Execute a variety of event planning details, including working with stakeholders, hiring vendors, managing invitations and guest lists, arranging guest lodging, and solving event challenges. Oversees all aspects of on-site event flow while professionally representing the College to visitors, alumni, parents, volunteers, prospects, and donors.
Provided executive leadership for all theater operations. Managed senior leadership across marketing, development, finance, and patron services. Directed a $2.2M nonprofit operating budget and negotiated all organizational contracts. Advanced earned and contributed revenue through strategic partnerships and fundraising. Built and stewarded relationships with board members, funders, government agencies, and community partners.
Established the standards and best practices for the visitor experience at KQED’s new event venue opening in 2021. Advised and developed operational procedures, including establishing event booking policies and implementing new databases - VenueOps and Tessitura. Oversaw event registration, house management, and digital communications for public events. Worked with Audience Engagement and Marketing teams to develop a marketing campaign introducing a new brand - KQED Live. ServeD on the diversity council and as a co-lead for the Ethnic & Racial Diversity employee resource group.
