Passionate about science, technology, entrepreneurship, and the power of deeptech to transform industries and improve lives. Over the past 11 years, I have been working across the venture capital and innovation ecosystem in Latin America, supporting science- and technology-based entrepreneurs as they move from research, laboratory developments, and early-stage technical concepts toward scalable and investable companies. My work focuses on bridging the gap between science and business: helping founders build strategic clarity, strengthen their business case, and navigate the complex path from innovation to company creation and growth. I am driven by the belief that deeptech, backed by strong execution and the right capital, can generate meaningful impact and create globally relevant companies from our region.
My main focus is on finding, assessing, analyzing, and supporting ideas, projects, and startups that are rooted in advanced scientific concepts. Working with the Cites Deal Flow Team, which is a part of a Venture Capital Fund, our goal is to collaborate closely with scientists and entrepreneurs. Together, we aim to turn their technological initiatives into successful global businesses. Alongside this, I also have the responsibility of managing the technical upkeep of our advanced laboratories and equipment. This involves working closely with our startup entrepreneurs, assisting them with technical matters and ensuring that they follow proper safety and labor practices. My role is to provide guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of our projects while maintaining safety standards.
Sancor Seguros Impulsa serves as an incubator for startups, small and medium-sized companies, and cooperatives affiliated with the Sancor Seguros Group. In my role as a technology advisor and consultant, I'm tasked with providing technical guidance and support. This involves assessing the potential of businesses, identifying strengths and weaknesses, and outlining work plans and strategies for project implementation. My primary goals within the projects include developing a Minimum Viable Product (MVP), overseeing team management, suggesting enhancements for ongoing improvement, devising marketing strategies to drive sales, and coordinating project schedules.
I served as an assistant professor at the "Centro Universitario Gálvez," which is part of the "Universidad Nacional del Litoral (UNL)". The courses I taught were "Industrial Technology" and "Logistics in the Food Industry," both part of the curriculum for the "University Technician in Food Preparation and Production" program.
I had the role of mentoring and supervising university students during their professional internships. These students came from various undergraduate programs at the "Universidad Nacional del Litoral (UNL)".
As a technical advisor and engineer, I was involved in various projects. One significant project included planning a small-scale production plant for dairy products. Additionally, I contributed to designing laboratories for research and education purposes. I wrote safety guidelines for food production and management. Moreover, I handled regulations related to food safety, cleanliness, and worker safety.
I worked as a technical advisor on R&D projects where we focused on developing fermentations to grow yeast. My role involved optimizing culture conditions and operational variables for the fermentation process. We utilized industrial waste and byproducts from the dairy industry as culture media, adding value to these materials.
