We believe that implementing innovative strategies change the attitudes and the dysfunctional or obsolete beliefs , thus achieving more positive understandings. 🔅 Maritime professionals are not simply trained in a classroom and then sent to sea to carry out their task without the need for any further support. As professionals we need to be continually developing and improving our skills, both formally and informally. Classrooms, simulators and other types of modern teaching are methods that can provide this formal support, while onboard the “Coaching” and “Mentoring” processes can and should be used as a proven effective form of informal support. 🔅With a CPD Program, we aim to explore the evolving role of the modern maritime professional, and the tools and techniques that must be mastered, providing guidance for continuous improvement and development. But fundamentally, our main objective is to instill a sense of pride and respect in the professional role, in order to motivate those who perform it to recognize its value to the profession, the organization, customers and society.
