I'm a Software Engineer with over 8 years of experience. Throughout my career, I have designed and built web apps, mobile apps, distributed services, RESTful APIs, CI/CD pipelines, data pipelines and other technical systems. Although I've always worked across the entire tech stack, I'm more skilled when it comes to Front End Engineering. Specifically, I've spent the last 4 years bringing to life digital products with React and React Native and I've been the Front End Lead of different teams collaborating closely with product management and UX design teams. My career has been driven by my eagerness to learn and improve myself day by day. I've particularly enjoyed working on Amazon Halo during the last year as it has been a very innovative experience. I would love to have the chance to learn further about HealthTech, Design Systems and Mobile and Platform Engineering in the near future. Furthermore, I'm a committed team player with a demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues to achieve common objectives, and a passion for mentoring and guiding my peers towards individual and collective success. My volunteering experiences have helped me in becoming a better mentor and I look forward to being involved in more of these experiences.
Design and development of an in-house UI component library based on React Native and design tokens for Kindle e-Reader platform. This initiative aims to provide theming for color devices and also to improve the accessibility standards of the platform.
In Amazon Business Delivery Experience team, my responsibilities were focused on designing and maintaining experiences that allowed business customers to provide delivery preferences that would apply to their orders, in some cases extending Amazon Retail features to be adapted to the reality of our businesses of all sizes. Later during my time in Amazon Halo, I was part of two teams: Fitness and 3P integration. As Fitness team's Front End Lead, I drove the development of Fitness-related content in the Halo mobile app. Later in 3P integration team, I worked on the integration between Halo and 3P health data services.
Design and development of AI products for EY Switzerland's accounting division: - Built CI/CD pipelines with the aid of GitLab CI/CD to deploy our solution on-premises - Set up different environments to support development, QA, UAT and production work - Definition and implementation of a Docker-based Django REST API architecture with support for asynchronous tasks (Celery) and large data volumes (MinIO) and a client based on React and Redux - Implementation of a successful multitenant scheme to support an increasing number of clients - Ideation and implementation of new features to leverage the existing solution as a global product
Design and development of Smart Information Retrival Engine (SIRE), a document intelligence platform for EY customers: Our solution aimed to avoid tedious manual work to find specific content among a large set of documents. Our customers were able to consult the analyses run over their documents, and train the Machine Learning models by correcting any wrong assumptions made by the platform. Development of an ingestion pipeline to transform raw data into insightful analytics: Our web platform was key to monitor the ingestion process and measure data quality. The entire platform was built with a wide range of cutting-edge technologies and the aid of an Agile software development methodology. Furthermore, Quality Assurance (QA) was enforced to deliver a robust asset, which is helpful across multiple industries.
