As a hands-on design lead, I thrive when working on challenging projects, thinking about new solutions and helping businesses fulfil their goals and objectives. I created the user interface design and front-end build of a very successful cloud based rental software management, working alongside a small team of very competent developers. I headed up a team of creatives, overseeing all company branding and design communications. I have a passion for holistic projects, seeing them through from concept to production. Whether that is creating a new brand and strategy, building a web application or collaborating on innovative marketing campaigns. I consider myself a unicorn designer, passionate for all things digital. Brand & Digital Design consultant. I work with business owners and leadership teams to define or redefine their brand strategies, making sure all brand touch points and communications are aligned visually and strategically.
I was responsible for overseeing and managing all design projects to be delivered on time as well as all branding communications for the agency. Filtering and prioritising workload to achieve business objectives. I was an active team player on developing new business relationships, engaging in networking events and attending client meetings during the early briefing stage of a project. I worked closely with the business development and marketing manager, brainstorming new marketing ideas, compiling strategy documents and preparing new business proposals.
Responsible for overseeing and managing other designers to deliver design projects on time as scheduled. Filtered and prioritised design work for the team to work on relevant projects. Liaised with marketing managers across the group to agree and prioritise workload for design team to work on. Was the project lead for the redesign of the USA Kerridge Commercial Systems website. Created new website strategy and wireframe structure to fulfil business goals. Collaborated with key team member to design, build and deliver project within a tight deadline.

Working closely with different marketing and product teams, making sure all design output is consistent and at the highest standard. I was an active player in defining a new team culture and implementing best design practices to make sure all work output is done to the highest quality. I have guided the teamβs manager to incorporate a more structured work scheduling to make sure both management and designers had a clear picture of what is being worked and that priorities are put in place, making sure all work is delivered on time.
During my journey at Current RMS, I have assisted the business to grow from a brand-new business, with zero customers, to over 2000 businesses across the globe. From its inception, Current RMS was a very innovative and modern business entering a very tech savvy and diverse market, and it was a pleasure to help them build their brand, tone and personality, both on a visual and strategic level. As the business grew, I was responsible for overseeing all companyβ s branding and design communications, working closely with both marketing and product teams, making sure all design output was consistent, at the highest standard and delivered on time. I have worked with the customer support team, listening to customerβs needs, collecting and analysing data, incorporating user feedback whenever possible. I have provided support to the development team when a new feature had to be incorporated in the software interface, making sure the user interface was kept consistent and the user experience remained central to any software changes. I have adopted user experience research practices to ensure all customer journey was consistent throughout the different brand interactions and business services, using different methodologies like customer journey mapping and service blueprint, carrying out research and collecting data to make informed decisions. I have been responsible for recruiting and training new designers that joined the business. I have prepared job spec, selected the candidates, carried out interviews and elaborated full training plans.

Responsible for designing the of user interface and building the front-end of their new cloud software web application, Current RMS, which was launched in 2014. I have designed their brand, all internal and external communications, and have been an active team member to create a successful product that grew from 0 to 2000 users worldwide in a very short space of time.
