Worked in Iconectiv modernization group to replace old CLONES system with latest Angular, PrimeNg, Spring boot. CLONES is a key product to provide GIS location service for clients like AT&T, T-mobile, Verizon etc. Worked out a generic solution of Local CLONES to apply same software to different countries. It is Iconectiv's key strategy to sell GIS location product to foreign business. The group I worked in is CCUI (Call Center UI) and soon transformed into Global Tech of Bank of America. CCUI provides agent the complete tool to handle customer calls. It is an enterprise application with 20+ micro service apps integrated together, namely customer search, event history, call Transfer, disclosures etc. Services are deployed into different slices in cloud. The UI were originally composed of JSP and now are rewritten to Angular and TypeScript. Responsibilities: ● Participate in design meeting on API definition for microservices. ● Expose Restful API which consumes complicated json objects with hierarchy. ● Worked on BUICs (business UI components) shared company wise. BUICs are developed then shared company wise between Call Center, Financial Center, Solution Center, etc. ● Worked on converting existing JSP app into BUIC (business UI component) in Angular2. ● Migrate servers into cloud within different physical slice to achieve clean separation between components. Including Oracle DB upgrade, big url change, health check, splunk setup. ● GIS requirement on jar upgrade, struts, spring, log4j, etc. to fix security issue. ● Build deploy application for production release. Identify issue and make fix. ● Remote debugging server in integrated environment to fix production issue. ● Lead onshore and offshore developers.
I joined ETS IBT (internet based testing) group on 2009. IBT is a distributed enterprise J2EE system that serves testing for centers all over the world. I started from GRE-Redesign, after IBT's success launch of program TOEFL. Over the years the platform adopted more programs like TOEIC, PRAXIS, GEOGIA, etc. From 2014, ETS started to adopt Amazon cloud AWS, replace JAVA test client with web client using AngularJS, replace JAVA workstation with AngularJS and C# .net/node.js, use Install Shield for new software distribution. Project Description: MTV Networks used ATG Dynamo J2EE application server on Linux for existing core business. To adopt new technology as well as unify different content management systems (CMS) from different brands, MTV initialized new project Scenic/Atlas to leveraging open source application servers and technology. Responsibilities: ● Analyzed, designed, implemented and tested VAULT (a SOA) project which acts as an integration point of distributed system.
