The primary focus of this role is to design the regional strategy, to deliver optimized RtM solutions that deliver Customer-Centric collaborative programs at optimized costs This role is accountable for the customer collaboration platform, which works with Modern Trade strategic retail partners and strong Traditional Trade distributor networks across the geographies of Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa. The role mainly entails building for the future and moving the customer relationship bar from transactional to strategic partnerships; driving service, efficiencies and ultimately productivities through varied customer collaboration programs; such as MOQs, C2S, Route to Market optimizations, JBP & JVC, etc. Leading the launch of global too for Vendor Managed Inventory to manage customer replenishment. Objectives of the program being – providing the business with one global solution, harmonized processes, increasing availability by actively managing customer inventory, driving down costs through reduced inventory through the value chain and shipping out optimized loads.
This role involved continuous improvement of the end 2 end supply chain to ensure optimal product availability at the Points of Selling, cut total supply chain costs and fortify customer relationships. Leading all supply chain teams of the business unit covering Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Master Data, Logistics Operations, Customer Service, Receivables, Customer Logistics Development Actively worked as part of the Mondelez MEA GCC & Growth Markets Leadership team to ensure achievement of objectives, implementation of all CS&L activities at optimum profitability and enhanced revenue growth by ensuring product availability on shelf. Managing a highly diverse & strategic portfolio of customers ranging from well-established distributors in the GCC, to developing customers in Growth Markets, by ensuring placement, management & fulfillment of orders to support revenue and volume targets. The operating environment covers 54 distributors across GCC & Growth Markets with shipments grossing at a revenue of $700mm. Sourcing is from 33 manufacturing plants across the globe.
