Manufacturing defects cost the industry roughly 20% of revenue every year. Most of that is preventable. The problem is that most testing still happens at the end of the line, when it's already too late to save the material, the machine time, or the energy that went into producing a bad part. That's what we're fixing at RESONIKS. We've built AI-powered acoustic testing that detects internal defects inline, in seconds, without radiation, chemicals, or specialist operators. Every part has a unique acoustic fingerprint. The AI learns what good looks like, and flags anything that doesn't match. Audi, Brose, Magna, and others are already using it. In some blind tests, RESONIKS was the only method to correctly classify all parts, ahead of X-ray, ultrasound, and visual inspection. I'm not an engineer. I think in data. Grew up across Germany, Thailand, Qatar, the UAE, and studied in The Hague and Munich, worked in Australia and France before landing in deep tech. That background shapes how I look at problems: across industries, across borders, and usually through a spreadsheet. What interests me is what actually happens when you give a factory 100% inspection data on every part it produces, not samples, not spot checks. What decisions become possible? What waste disappears? What recalls never happen? I write about manufacturing quality data 2-3 times a week. Numbers, trends, things worth questioning. If you work in quality or operations in manufacturing, I'd be glad to connect. Reach out anytime: [email protected] | resoniks.com
