Founded Marketplace Experts in 2018 as a SaaS business to help brands and retailers connect to closed and curated marketplaces faster, reduce time-to-online and build sustainable marketplace operations. The company was successfully sold to the market-leading competitor in 2022.
In my role I supported the brand in starting their marketplace business from scatch. That involved business strategy preperation, technical system setup, marketplace integration, training of involved teams and departments on the new sales channels as well as further internationalizing the business on serveral online marketplaces.
As an Interim Manager within Douglas E-Commerce Team I was responsible for further technical and conceptual development of the Douglas Partner Program (Marketplace), mainly focussed on SaaS Partner Integration and extending their Middleware Provider network, the onboarding and integration of several external merchants and the connection of Douglas to other external sales platforms/channels.
