As Founder and Director of Common Place Ltd, I help organisations, leaders, partnerships and communities make sense of complex situations, build shared purpose and turn ideas into practical change. My work sits across organisational development, leadership practice, systems thinking, creative facilitation, coaching and community engagement. I support people to understand what is really happening in their context, surface different perspectives, strengthen trust and move from reflection into action. Listening and co-production is central to my practice. I work in an enabling and empowering way, helping individuals, teams and communities recognise their own insight, agency and capacity for change. Recent work includes leadership development within a major UK automotive manufacturer for Curium Solutions Ltd, schools and stakeholder engagement for Mission Accomplished’s DCMS-funded work experience in the creative industries programme, and creative learning and partnership development with Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Earlier in my career, I was Head of Centre at Ingestre Hall, where my work was recognised through the Parliamentary Award for 'Excellence in Education'. I was also part of the senior leadership team at Woodcraft Folk, helping to shape inclusive, child-led learning, participation and residential education. I also support mission-led organisations through governance, safeguarding and strategic development, including as a trustee of the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom and The Summer Camps Trust. At the heart of my practice is a simple belief: lasting change happens when people are properly listened to, trusted and supported to make sense of things, and build a future together.
