Dr. Felix Olale is a physician-scientist, investor, advisor, and company builder working across healthcare, biotechnology, life sciences, and AI-enabled systems. He works with CEOs, founders, boards, and investors to build and scale healthcare and biotech platforms. His work focuses on translating complex science, data, emerging technologies, and new models of healthcare delivery into high-performing businesses with stronger growth, margins, and strategic value. Dr. Olale is Managing Partner of Cencap Group, a private investment platform focused on capital allocation across health, science, and society. Founded in 2015, Cencap partners selectively with companies, investors, boards, and institutions at the intersection of healthcare, science, and technology, bringing capital, perspective, and strategic engagement to opportunities where long term value can be built with conviction. He also serves as a Senior Advisor to TPG across healthcare services, and technology-enabled growth. Over the past 25 years, Dr. Olale has worked across scientific discovery, clinical services, McKinsey, private equity, board governance, and executive leadership. His experience centers on building and scaling platforms across healthcare services, diagnostics, precision medicine, real-world evidence, longitudinal data, longevity, and care delivery. At MedGenome, he served as Global Chairman and later President and CEO of its U.S. business, helping scale a global genomics, diagnostics, precision medicine, multi-omics, and drug discovery platform serving more than 35 countries across North America, Europe, Latin America, Asia, and Africa. His work focused on translating advanced biological, clinical, and data capabilities into clinical, research, and commercial applications. Previously, Dr. Olale was Co-Leader of Global Healthcare at LeapFrog Investments, where he co-founded and led the firm’s healthcare investment platform, growing to one-quarter of the firm’s nearly $3 billion AUM. His work covered fundraising, fund strategy, origination, investment execution, portfolio governance, operational scaling, and exits. Dr. Olale began his career at NYU Langone Health, where his doctoral research identified and cloned genes involved in early organ development, with implications for cancer and immunology, stem cell differentiation, and regeneration. He holds an MD and PhD from NYU Grossman School of Medicine and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania. He is working on his first book, Evolution at the Edge of Superintelligence.
