I'm a Functionality and Localization Quality Assurance tester from Sweden. Working as a functionality tester has taught me a lot about having an eye for detail, an understanding of how software works and how to be self motivated. I learned how to notice when things weren't quite right, and used creative ways to discover hidden bugs and test every aspect of each game. Being an LQA tester has honed both my English and Swedish skills, not just because of the nature of the work, but also through the experience of moving to and living in several English-speaking countries. I have been praised for my ability to find a great deal of bugs, my meticulous bug reports and for my professionalism.
I reviewed certain content to ensure that it followed rules and guidelines specified by a client.
I was responsible for testing the quality of the Swedish version of FIFA 22. I meticulously checked every area of the game, I regressed bugs and I looked for issues with the User Interface, typos, and grammatical errors. When I found an issue, I would either directly edit the problematic text string, or report the issue to the developers if the issue couldn't be solved with a text change.
I worked with both English to Swedish localization quality assurance testing, and functionality quality assurance testing. While LQA testing, I proofread text strings, checked for typos and grammatical errors, and tested the translated game for any issues caused by the translation. When necessary, I would directly edit the text string, or write a bug report when the issue couldn’t be fixed with an edit. While FQA testing, I was responsible for both independent ad-hoc testing and following test cases, writing bug reports and assisting my coworkers whenever they needed help.
