Hi my name is Felix! Currently, I work as a Regulatory Affairs Manager at Getinge Stockholm. My team and I support the (re)registration of medical devices from the critical care portfolio in more than 135 countries. I hold a PhD in medical science from the Karolinska Institutet. My research focused on developing multifunctional bone implant coatings that prevent infection and promote osseointegration. During these five years it was successful to synthesize and deposit nanoparticles on titanium substrates to prevent infection and promote osteogenic properties. In order to succeed in these tasks, I needed to develop strong communication, analyitcal, networking and project management skills. My background also involves the teaching of medical students and the supervision of their projects, strengthening my leadership and collaboration abilities. In Germany, I gathered first experiences and impressions of the healthcare industry during my time at Siemens. In the department of Quality & Technology, the main task involved the complaint monitoring of their product portfolio using the common complaint handling system (CCHS). Moreover, I supported the Quality Management (QM) team in drafting escalation letters, updating QM-templates and writing notification emails. I hold a master's degree in Biomaterials from the University of Manchester and a bachelor's degree in Nanotechnology from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. My fellow students, colleagues and supervisors often described me as a friendly, open minded and professional team player who likes to work effectively on several projects at a time. Establishing and maintaining the correspondence with company representatives in the role as Corporate Relations Officer. Participated in planning the first hybrid event of CHaSE in 2021 at the Karolinska Institutet after the pandemic with more than 30 companies.
Implementation and maintenance of a SharePoint platform to connect product managers from all over the world and ensuring the efficient collaboration on products of Siemens Digital Factory. Experience in SAP, MS office and some programming was gained.
