In April 1991 we pioneered the YWAM base in Puerto Princesa with different ministries on the island of Palawan, Philippines. Inicially we worked with the vietnamese Asylumseekers in the First Philippine Asylum Camp. 1993 we got our first staff, who reached out to the Tau't Batu tribe. 1993 we offered our first Discipleship Training School to the Asylum Seekers. After four schools for them we also offered the course to students from other countries. 1995 we hosted a School of Fronteer Ministries in our building and gained many new staff, who reached out to different people groups. During that time we also facilitated teams from different countries and ministeres in some of the Sub-Colonies of the Iwahig Prison Colony. In later years we also accepted several released inmates for rehabilitation in our facility. Because the children of the tribal people needed schooling we opend a second location in the south of Palawan and took in up to 12 children so that they could attend the village school in Ransang. For these children we also started a sponsorship Program. IN January 2004 we turned over the leadership to our leadership team and continued our ministry as bridgebuilders between Asia and Europe from Tostedt Germany. We are very thankful that our former staff and several new staff are faithfully continuing the different ministries we started.
