In June 2020, Felix Onen was nominated by Foya Global as African Founder of the Year under 30 and also nominated in 2023 as Hospitality founder of the year under 30 through his hospitality company brands such as Wafoyo Safaris and Onen Lodges as also recognized for his entrepreneur journey in Africa through his entrepreneur ambition of innovation and creativity Beyond business, Onen has demonstrated exemplary record of contributing to the well being of Uganda and beyond via the Onen Global Foundation. Which he established in 2015. The Foundation covers and contributes to education, Art and Culture, Community development, Wildlife and Environmental conservation.Onen Global Foundation is the charity arm of Onen Group, which unites people and entrepreneur ideas to create opportunities through digital literacy and education for a better World. Onen is a Christian who graduated with a bachelor's degree in Journalism and communication from Cavendish University Uganda. Onen is a passionate golfer.
