For the development of future electric vehicles, battery testing is an essential part of research and development. My focus is on lithium-ion batteries, which have proven to be a key technology for sustainable mobility. I began my career in 2019 as a project engineer at BatterieIngenieure GmbH. From the very start, I had the technical responsibility for sub-projects involving renowned OEMs. Since June 2021, I had been working as a project manager and served as the central point of contact for two key account customers in the automotive sector. My practical experience has assisted me in aligning the requirements with the customers and finding technical solutions with our team. In July 2022 I emigrated to Sweden, and I applied my expertise at Volvo Cars' Battery Lab as Senior Test Engineer. Since February 2023, I was also responsible for coordinating the Cell team - first as Scrum Master, later as Test Leader. In addition to facilitating the agile planning meetings, my tasks included coordinating priorities with stakeholders, continuously building trust, and enhancing teamwork within our young team. In September 2024 I got promoted to Engineering Manager for the entire Battery Lab, which consists of the teams for Pack, Module and Cell testing and support functions. I am responsible for a safe work environment, for high quality testing deliveries, for the development of 18 highly skilled engineers and for the strategic direction for the lab. In the future, I will continue to devote my energy to accelerating the transition to electromobility.
