Me in 10 seconds : First-generation immigrant from a low-income BAME family. My dad worked as a cleaner, and my mum juggled McDonald’s shifts to fund her degree (and look after me 😄) Now, I am a doctor with a first-class BSc (Hons) in pharmacology and a passion for health-tech products and medical affairs. How I got here As immigrants, we were resource and knowledge poor. However, I eventually built my roadmap and graduated top of my final year Pharmacology cohort exams, delivered the valedictory speech and won the British Pharmacology Society Undergraduate Prize Secured a place on one of the UK’s most competitive graduate-entry medicine courses Funded myself through med school and helped my mum fund nursing school by setting up a content business in University. In case you were wondering... My mum earned an MBA and nursing degree and now manages a care home; my dad moved from cleaning to chef at the same home (funny how things turn out?!) So what now? Are you set on sticking with medicine????? I’m focused on translating frontline experience into scalable healthtech products and Medical Affairs strategies. I’m currently a Digital Foundation Fellow within the NHS. Alongside medicine, I’ve worked on digital content strategy and education projects for creators and businesses, including Ali Abdaal's multimillion-dollar YouTube academy. Acting as a liaison between the ED department at UHCW and the Accurxproduct implementation team surrounding Accurx scribe. Taster week • Four days embedded across User Support, Service Management, Transformation, and Product, building a working understanding of the end-to-end customer journey from sale to sustained adoption. • Attended an in-person hospital Scribe go-live at an NHS trust, observing how implementation, training, and rapid-response support land on the day of launch. • Joined new-cycle planning meetings and had a structured introduction to the Accur Transformation process: how priorities are sequenced against commercial risk and customer success. • Met with the Principal Clinician and Product team to learn more about clinical safety framing and how clinician-side signal routes into prioritisation.
Delivered an interactive revision session to approximately 40 final year Warwick Medical School students on 11th February 2026. LOR attached.
This was working within a team that ran the Multi-Million Dollar PTYA Course created by Ali Abdaal. In my supporter role, 20 hours for 6 weeks were spent advising on the creative strategy for 100+ different creators across a huge niche range (I’m talking literally from Off-grid living and hydroponics to nomad living channels) I helped kickstart new channels and power up existing channels within a community of now 2000+ creators https://felixbijoy.super.site/
