Responsible for the legal aspects of carbon projects in the Amazon, from its start (coordination of the due diligences and drafting contracts) to the implementation of the plan for the protection and/or regeneration of the areas. Management of certification procedures, implementation of good practices with local communities, relations with competent public bodies and legal management of the effective sale of generated carbon credits.
Responsible for forestry (timberland) and agribusiness projects of the bank: acquisitions, coordination of due diligences, drafting of contracts and management of strategic real estate and environmental litigation. Mentor for the inaugural “BTG SOMA Environment” program (2022), an acceleration initiative by BTG Pactual focused on strengthening the management and financial sustainability of environmental social organizations in Brazil.
