I am partner in the Minneapolis, Minnesota office of Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP. I have more than 30 years of intellectual property litigation experience during which I have led both plaintiff and defendant matters on a large variety of claims related to patents, copyrights, trademarks, and trade dress. My litigation experience spans several industries, including medical devices, software, music, pharmaceuticals, and manufactured goods. I work effectively with clients and my team to develop winning themes through the Markman process, discovery, motion practice and trial. I have also handled multiple NPE defense matters and have substantial experience working with large and small joint defense groups. I am a registered patent attorney with a bachelor's degree in chemistry and have represented clients in contested proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). With this background, I have expanded my skills to include domestic and international arbitration. I am a Certified Neutral in Minnesota and a member of the International Trademark Association (“INTA”) Panel of Mediators . My arbitration recognitions include achieving the status of Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators ("CIArb"); a panel member of the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) for commercial disputes; aa member of the London Court of International Arbitration and an Arbitration Panel Member for WIPO.
