I am currently working on the automation of structural load analyses for the deployment of fibre optics cables.
Maintenance and development of software for automatic alignment of the optics in our electron microscopes.
* 2020-09–2022-01: Architecture and development of automation of structural load analysis of telegraph poles. (mathematical optimization, Python) * 2020-03–2020-08: Developing machine learning model and prototype of Android app to detect properties of telegraph poles in photos. (Python, Tensorflow, Android, Keras) * 2019-01–2020-02: Developing SaaS for planning of fibre optics networks (Python, Post- greSQL) * Mentoring junior developers
Research: * Development and analysis of a solver for radiative transfer problems based on adaptive finite elements and wavelets * Lead developer for a small group designing a versatile C++ library for solving transport-dominated problems * Cooperation with international scientists working on the Dune finite element library * 3 published papers and several scientific talks Teaching: * In charge of C++ programming courses * Teaching as an assistant in different numerical mathematics courses * Supervising a Master's thesis on discontinuous Petrov–Galerkin
* Developing numerical software (sparse grid B-Spline library for data fitting in C++) * Mentoring students in numerical mathematics, stochastics and computer science
