I am an expert in the coordination of networks and management of European Projects with a strong knowledge of EU Policies and Law. I combine a legal background with skills in project management, communication and networking. I studied Law at the University of Bologna where I graduated in 2004 with honours, before completing and MA in International and European legal studies. Since 2009 I hold an international PhD in EU law and policies from the University of Bologna and the University of Strasbourg (joint Italian-French programme). I successfully completed an internship at the Legal service of the European Parliament (Brussels) and in 2011 I joined Diesis where I worked until 2018 as a researcher and project manager in the field of Social economy and Social innovation. Since 2017 I am responsible for the coordination of the ARFIE Network, the European Association for research and training on integration for people with disabilities. Two words describe my profile: flexibility and determination.
ARFIE is the Association for Research and Training on Integration in Europe whose aim is to improve the support, the social inclusion and the availability of services to people with disabilities, people with important dependency needs and with associated mental health needs, through provision of a quality staff training. Main tasks: - Management of the organisations: coordination of the Association’s activities, maintaining contact between member associations , organization of Board Meetings, General Assembly, developing the associations’ strategic plan; - Public Affairs on behalf of ARFIE towards the European Parliament, the European Commission and other European Umbrella organisations; - Project Management and Coordination of Project Partnerships; - Development, implementation, and coordination of the Media Strategy; - Organisation of events.
➢ EU funding (social economy; social innovation; migrant integration; sustainable mobility; smart cities): ▪ Drafting of project proposals (composition of the partnership, description of the action, budget); ▪ Project management; ▪ Financial and technical reporting of EU funded projects; ➢ Social Media Management: ▪ Organization and implementation of dissemination and networking strategies; ▪ Management of media and social media; ▪ Elaboration of content for media and social media. ➢ Events: ▪ Organization of high-level conferences and meetings, workshops and focus groups; ▪ Organization of Trainings; ➢ Policy: ▪ Research and analysis on specific EU policies; ▪ Drafting of policy papers and studies. ➢ Coordination and membership: ▪ Coordination of DIESIS members at European level; ▪ Organization and coordination of working groups; ▪ Coordination of project partnerships;
Monitoring EU project funding opportunities; Attending information meetings on the specific Calls; Writing EU funding bids; coordination of partners.

Supporting agents of the Legal Service in their tasks; carrying out research activity on different topics of EU law, analysis of Commission's proposals, Summary of judgments of the European Court of Justice, attending and reporting on meetings of Parliamentary committees
