Industrial Chemical Engineer with a Master degree in Manufacturing Systems. Broad experience in chemical processes engineering < 12 years( (coatings, electroplating and thermoset polymers) and project management, < 8 years.
• Develop and industrialize new products and technologies: Industrial development - Writing of project plan. - Organization of a technology's realization. - Writing of functional specification. - If required, participate in the technical feasibilities with R&D or new businesses/products - Industrialization studies. - Write technical documentation in the field of expertize. - Ensure technical information sharing with local Engineering and zones Acceptances - Preparation and ensurance of acceptance of technologies and corresponding raw materials and consumables. - Provide expertise for layout and design for new technology. - Collaboration in the installation of new production lines. Pilots - Training of the impacted team. (production, maintenance, engineering...) - Participation in the pilot organization and in the pilot contract writing. - Assist and control the pilot production, check the performance level. - Participation in the definition of the homologation file and, if required, define action plans. • Deployment of products and technologies (process and equipments) - Participation in the creation of the development plan. - Ensure the deployment according to the contract. (Project plan) - Acceptance of technologies. - Pilots. • Technical assistance and support - Writing of an assistance contract. - Roll out the assistance procedure. - Ensuring technical information sharing with local Engineering and zones. (Mainly in America) - Studies or proposals for the use (or generalization) of solutions from other technologies or plants. - Participation in the definition of audit plans and perform them as defined. • Knowledge capitalization and development - Definition of training for industrial expertise field. - Ensure the global documentation of industrialization, products and technologies. - Training to the industrial activity. - Proposal of functional improvements (organization, equipments, processes) - Support and promote innovation and competitive intelligence.
-Management of the polarized film forming department. (250 operative people and 5 administrative) -Product and raw material inventories. -Provide and negotiate resources for the achievement of the industrial indicators.
-Supervision of the monomer preparations for the different production departments in the plants with high quality standards and on time. -Managing the inventories and purchase orders of: monomers, additives, etc.
-Design of elastomeric compounds to meet the customer specifications. -Laboratory testing of elastomeric compounds. -Implementation of the new designed compounds in the production lines. -Supplier quality assurance engineering.
