With a strong foundation in composite materials research and engineering, I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow focusing on advancing composite materials for energy and mobility applications. My work includes characterizing thin-ply thermoplastic composites, mitigating gas permeability in hydrogen storage tanks, and leading the NDT segment of a technology consortium, collaborating with industry partners to manage the integrity of non-metallic infrastructure. Previously, I served as an engineering team leader and production leader, where I managed multidisciplinary teams and spearheaded projects in composite process technologies. My academic background includes a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Boğaziçi University, complemented by assistant professorship and lecturing roles at various universities. My research has been published in leading journals and presented at international conferences, showcasing my expertise in the mechanical behavior, failure analysis, and innovative manufacturing processes of composite materials.
