As Manager, People Strategy & Partnerships (PSP), I provide strategic leadership and operational oversight to a multidisciplinary HR team delivering client focused, integrated human capital solutions across The City of Calgary. PSP is the client facing division within Human Resources and serves as a trusted partner to leaders at all levels, supporting both immediate workforce needs and long term organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and develop a team of HR leaders, business partners, organizational development consultants, and analysts. • Deliver strategic, data informed HR solutions aligned to corporate priorities. • Support core people processes including workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, organizational development, ability management, and labour relations. • Foster an inclusive, respectful, and psychologically safe workplace culture grounded in equity, diversity, inclusion, anti racism, and reconciliation. • Partner closely with HR Centres of Expertise to provide seamless and integrated HR service delivery. • Champion innovation, continuous improvement, and change management within the PSP division. • Develop strategic and business plans informed by client feedback, performance data, and best practice research. • Monitor, measure, and report on PSP’s service effectiveness and organizational impact. • Contribute to HR’s governance, strategic planning, and resource decision making as a member of the HR Management Team. ● Selected to drive the enterprise project to establish a Restorative Workplace Strategy and institute a people-first and trauma-informed approach to workplace conflicts at the municipality with 16,000+ employees and 7 unions ● Lead 2 direct and 3 indirect reports in the full cycle deliver of the project with a yearly budget exceeding $500,000 ● Report to the Manager of Business Advisory Services (BAS) and offer subject matter expertise to inform planning ● Define project scope, allocate resources, establish goals, assign team duties, and confirm timelines are achieved ● Engage senior executives and union leadership uncover areas in need of improvement and formulate solutions ● Connect with experts and research potential outcome-based tactics that advance restorative workplace practices ● Track performance metrics, evaluate team progress, and compile and present reports to the leadership team ● Shape the reporting, communication, and accountability standards for the new Restorative Workplace program ● Guide the design and execution of training programs to share best practices and maximize program adoption
